Weekly Fishing Report Supplied by Kalbarri Sports
and Dive
This Report for 5th Jan 2009
Boaties have had good catches of Dhuies and Baldchin
Groper both north and south of the rivermouth, some Tuna have also been caught
whilst chasing Mackies

Tailor have fired up everywhere around the Kalbarri coast
with bag limits easy reached on most nights , some people have been a little
greedy though and taking more than they need , they must remember that if they
take more than they need then our Tailor stocks will diminish to the point of
restrictions or worse extinction ,
The Jetty has also fired up with Tailor again this week
A few Mulloway to 5kg have been caught at Chinamans point
this week
Crabs have again been in fair numbers but most are
undersize , I am guessing about April we should have a great season with Crabs
unless we get more fresh water from Cyclones before April.
As far as Crabs go it is important to remember that the boat limit for Blue
Manna Crabs is 20 if two or more people are onboard , or 10 Blue Manna Crabs per
person , size for Blue Manna Crabs is 127mm
