The Charter operators have had some
splendid catches with most catching Dhuies , Pinkies , Baldies and
the odd Coral Trout.
Just in , Customer just caught this

Pink Snapper have been caught along most of the
Kalbarri coast , with favorite hotspots being Goats Gulch (Pinkies
to 8kg) , Frustrations reef (Pinkies to 6kg) & Oyster Reef with
Pinkies to 6kg , Dean & myself were surprised on Wednesday evening
to catch Pinkies just inside the rivermouth whilst fishing for
Mulloway in a tinnie just in front of the first red channel marker.
The River has fished reasonably well with a few
recorded catches of 30 to 38cm Black Bream , Soapy Mulloway are being
caught in good numbers around the local fishermans jetty however
they do not seem to get any bigger than about 45cm , care needs to
be taken in releasing these guys so they can be next years 80cm
stock.
Mud crabs have been caught in small numbers around the Fishermans
jetty , Blue Mannas are always hit and miss at this time of year
when the fresh water flows down the river.
Surf fishing has seen Mulloway to 15kg and
tailor to 40cm along the Witticarra creek stretch of the coast.
Wagoe has fired up with good numbers of Pink Snapper , when
the swell permits.

Other Catches
I took a
customer fishing early morning down to pot alley, did not
have to wait long before we had a hit. one ending in a spit out
and the other a bust off. but i did manage to hold on to this
5.5kg pink snapper which i was happy to share around
HOTBITE
